Frequently Asked Questions

Secured Tech supports deployment for Chromebooks, iPads, MacBooks, and laptops. Our team can prepare devices for classroom use through enrollment, configuration, asset tagging, and packaging so they arrive ready for students and staff.

Turnaround time depends on the size of the deployment and when the purchase order is received. For projects ordered earlier in the year—especially those submitted on or before April 30 with devices and cases in stock—our team can typically complete setup and delivery ahead of the school year.

Projects submitted after June 1 are scheduled based on the district’s required delivery date, and we only accept deployments that can be completed within the requested timeframe. Turnaround times begin once all required materials and configuration details have been received and verified. Our team will always do our best to work with your district’s needs and timeline.

White Glove pricing is based on the services included in the deployment and the number of devices being prepared. We offer bundled pricing for many of the most common services—such as asset tagging, case installation, packaging, and delivery coordination—to make planning easier for districts.

Because each deployment is a little different, our team can help determine the best service bundle based on your district’s needs and timeline. To learn more or request a quote, contact our Solutions Team at sales@securedtech.com.

Yes! Large device deployments often generate a significant amount of packaging. Secured Tech will consolidate and remove cardboard packaging during the deployment process at no additional cost, helping districts reduce the burden of unpacking and disposal.

This allows devices to arrive organized, labeled, and ready for distribution, without IT teams needing to manage large volumes of packaging materials across multiple buildings.

Yes. With advance notice, devices can be organized and bulk packaged by school building before delivery to make distribution easier for district IT teams.

Delivery to one central district location is included. If devices need to be shipped to multiple schools or buildings, we can support that as well for an additional fee. Advance planning is required so our team can coordinate packaging, labeling, and delivery logistics.

Yes. Secured Tech supports Google Zero-Touch Enrollment (ZTE) for ChromeOS devices. Districts complete a short form so that Secured Tech can automatically enroll devices into your district's Google Admin Console. Devices will be configured with your district's policies and settings once connected to the internet.

Yes. We can prepare Apple devices so they connect to your district’s mobile device management (MDM) environment when they are first powered on. This helps ensure devices are ready for configuration and policy application when they reach students and staff.

Yes. Secured Tech can apply district-provided asset tags or barcodes during the deployment process so devices arrive ready for inventory tracking. This helps districts streamline device management, simplify repair tracking, and reduce the time IT teams spend labeling devices after delivery.

This has become especially helpful as many newer Apple devices no longer include visible serial numbers on the outside of the device, making identification during inventory, deployment, or repair workflows more difficult without an external label.

For districts that don’t yet have an asset tagging process in place, we can also help implement a labeling approach that aligns with your asset management system and internal tracking processes.
